My research interest is how our human agency is shaped by a world of omnipresent technology.
We have all felt the pull of our phones or the allure of another scroll. Many of us feel out of control in our relationship with technology. I am studying how digital environments capture our agency and direct us towards goals or actions that might not be in our best interest. To that end, I am exploring novel measures of agency that account for modern technology's manipulation of our sense of agency.
